Recognition for taste
Independent recognition for the quality of our beef and the strength of our farming enterprise.
We are proud that our work has been recognised nationally through a number of respected food and farming awards.
Irish Food Writers’ Guild Producer Award
We were honoured to receive a Producer Award from the Irish Food Writers’ Guild for our Irish Moiled beef.
These awards are among the most respected in Irish food. Producers cannot enter or nominate themselves. Instead, winners are nominated and chosen by members of the Guild — Ireland’s leading food writers and journalists — based on the quality, integrity and story behind the food.
Our beef was tasted and selected by the Guild, recognising the exceptional flavour and character of Irish Moiled beef, a rare native breed we are proud to farm.
For us, this award reflects not only the quality of the beef itself, but also the way it is produced — slowly and carefully, allowing these cattle to mature naturally on grass.
Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards
At the Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards, our Irish Moiled burgers were awarded Bronze, while our tomahawk steaks received a Silver award, recognising both flavour and quality.
Farming Recognition
We were also honoured to receive a Highly Commended Farm Business of the Year award at the Northern Ireland Farming Awards.
McKenna’s Guides
In addition, we are recommended by McKenna’s Guides, one of Ireland’s most respected independent food guides.
These recognitions mean a great deal to us, as they reflect our commitment to doing things properly — from how we farm to how our food is prepared and shared.
