How to use your tallow

Tallow is wonderfully versatile and naturally stable at high heat.

Use it for:

• Frying eggs, steak or burgers

• Roast potatoes and vegetables

• Air fryer wedges

• Searing meat

• Baking (it makes beautiful brownies)

• Replacing butter 1:1 in most recipes

It has a clean, rich flavour that enhances food without overpowering it.

Storage and care

• Store at room temperature

• Keep lid sealed when not in use

• Always use a clean, dry spoon

• It will soften in warm weather — this is completely natural

Why ours is different

Our tallow comes from our own herd of Irish Moiled cattle — a traditional Irish breed we are proud to preserve.

Because our cattle are grass fed and naturally foraged, the tallow has a beautiful golden hue and a clean, mild flavour.

We make it ourselves, here on the farm, using the traditional slow-rendering method.

Nothing added. Nothing artificial.

Just pure beef tallow.
